Dr. Peterson brings to SOC 17 years of experience as the CEO of five companies in service industries, both private and public, domestic and international, including companies in the call center, scientific and medical staffing, hospital services, claims administration and specialty marketing businesses. From 1987 to 1997, Dr. Peterson practiced as a board-certified emergency physician in the emergency department of The George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C., where he was an Associate Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He received his BA and MD degrees from the University of Michigan, and did his specialty training in emergency medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
